Have more questions? Here are some FAQs:
How do I pronounce ePixome!?
e-pix-oh-me; just think, “e pictures of me”!
What is this awesome service all about?
ePixome! is all about fun! Its about being right in the middle of having a good time and being able to share your excitement with your friends and family via the technology of the Internet. The Internet is all about communication, and what ePixome! does is allow people to share a picture, or PiXo as we like to call it, or a video, or 'ViXo' as we like to call it, through the revolution of the World-Wide-Web and social networking!
How does it work?
ePixome! is a system that correlates unique PINs with media files (photos or videos) that are taken by the friendly Pixo/Vixo-takers out in the field. You will be given a Retrieval Card by the aforementioned Pixo/Vixo-taker that has a unique PIN code and instructions on how to pick-up your photo or video. You'll need an Internet connection!
How can I find out more about the ”business side“ of ePixome!?
You can contact us directly to receive access to our Client Extranet where we keep all the confidential business stuff. We will give you a complete list of our services and the run down on all of the exciting campaigns we have and are a part of, our stellar client list, and any other information you might find useful if you were thinking of utilizing our service and technology as part of a promotion or event.
Why is it free?
ePixome! is always free because the service is typically offered through sponsorship. You can thank the people that have contracted our system and service for not having to pay a penny to use it. Some promotions may allow you to purchase a print of your photo but there's never a cost associated with viewing and sharing your fun!
Where can I find ePixome!?
ePixome! is growing as quickly as we can! If you would like to see our service somewhere, let us know! Contact Us!
What if I lose my Retrieval Card?
Unfortunately there isn't much we can do to help! Since our system is built to protect your image as securely as possible, all PINs are random 9-16 character codes that are associated with a photo or video. Sorry!
I got a PiXo/ViXo taken as part of a fun promotion, but now I can't find the URL.
So metimes our clients create 'micro-sites' or temporary URLs to handle traffic specifically to their promotion. On very few occasions they also require us to remove the photos from their event by a certain date. If you cannot find the URL listed on the instructions on your Retrieval Card, you can click the "My PiXo/ViXo!" button on ePixome! homepage and try entering your PIN.
How long is my PiXo/ViXo available?
It's our policy to keep all media files for at least 1 year from the event conclusion unless required by our client to remove the photos/videos related to their program after a certain date. Over the years we have done some purging of our servers to clean up un-retrieved photos/videos. We try to make all retrieved photos/videos available indefinitely.
